This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, customer-focused, and ready to take ownership of first-line IT support across multiple business sites.
You will be the frontline responder for all IT support requests across the group. You'll deliver timely and effective support, maintain and configure IT systems, manage assets, and help administer platforms like Google Workspace and Quickbase. You'll also contribute to exciting IT projects, with a strong focus on data security and compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
While specific, predefined career paths within the Group's IT department are limited due to its size, there are opportunities to gain experience and take on responsibilities related to IT project management, business/systems analysis, database administration, or IT security coordination based on performance and business needs.
Requirements:
Be the first point of contact for all IT support issues, aiming to respond to urgent requests within 15 minutes.
Log and manage support tickets, escalating complex issues when necessary.
Administer Google Workspace (users, groups, devices) and provide support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Support and develop Quickbase applications, dashboards, and reports.
Conduct regular IT asset audits and maintenance.
Train and support staff in the effective use of IT systems and tools.
Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Occasional travel to other company sites may be required, mileage will be covered.
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills:
Proven experience in an IT support role (1st/2nd line).
Good understanding of Windows OS and Chrome OS, hardware, and basic networking.
Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems and Google Workspace administration (preferred).
Familiarity with database platforms--Quickbase experience would be advantageous.
Awareness of IT security best practices; ISO 27001 knowledge desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented, methodical, and well-organised.
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to change.
A team player with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic DBS criminal record check and must possess valid right to work in the UK, as we're unable to support visa sponsorship.
