We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced group leader/key worker at our OFSTED Outstanding nursery.

You will lead your own group supported by two early years assistants to guide the children round our 5 different learning rooms throughout the day (Artroom, Classroom, Gym, Library and beautiful Garden).

Our group leaders form strong relationships with the children and parents, sending them weekly observations through our digital app. At Mount Carmel, our practitioners stay with the same children every day, for the full duration of the academic year. This allows relationships to flourish and children and parents to feel secure in the understanding that we really know their child and are able to support their individual needs.

To the successful candidate we can offer:

Flexible fixed contract between 38 weeks - 48 weeks (either term time only or with additional holiday club weeks- we can be flexible). 40 hours per week (between 8.30am and 5.00pm) 28 days paid holiday per year Flexible holiday allowances Maternity cover job- may extend to a permanent contract for the right candidate - hiring from October 2025- January 2026
