Group Leader (Warehouse/Stores)

Shift:

Rotating Shifts 07:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 23:00 (one week on each) Monday - Friday

Rittal-CSM are looking for a Group Leader to oversee the Stores department and assist in the day to day running of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have the aptitude to oversee the Stores area in addition to leading its team members.

Duties Include:-

Picking orders using scanners Allocating picks, tasks and monitoring progress Handing over the warehouse to the 2nd shift preparing for the day ahead when manager is on annual leave. Booking in goods Assisting with new employees' training Safe starts, forklift, and racking checks are done Keeping on top of knowledge with scanners Organising stock in warehouse area Making up various size boxes Moving stock between warehouses Unpacking and booking in return items General daily cleaning of warehouse (sweeping, emptying bins etc) Inventory Management Any other duties as designated

Skills/Training required:-

Group Leaders are required to have or be willing to obtain their CMI L3 in Team Leadership Good time management skills Good people skills Ability to anticipate and solve problems Ability to meet deadlines Proficient with computer software and sap skills Motivation to ensure that quality standards are met and warehouse procedures and processes are adhered to. Making sure cycle counts are done
