Context:
We are looking for someone who has advanced knowledge of using Hubspot. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding how it works, how it can be configured to build segments and workflows, as well as how it can integrate with other systems, creating opportunities for efficiencies, data management reporting and automation across the platform.
The Group Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of automated marketing campaigns. The individual will be critical in driving campaign performance, optimising for success, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals while ensuring Hubspot is properly maintained in line with best practices. This position requires a combination of marketing experience and technical aptitude to support and elevate the capabilities of our marketing automation platform.
The Group Marketing Automation Manager will work closely with the Marketing Optimisation Manager to ensure campaigns are constantly improved through optimisation and with the Data and Insights team to learn about customer trends and segments that can be brought into automation processes.
The Group Marketing Automation Manager will seek to maintain a bridge between marketing and sales within HubSpot. Whilst it is the responsibility of the Group Marketing and Group Sales Directors to agree an overall customer acquisition and retention strategy, it will be the Marketing Automation Manager's role to enforce the strategy and ensure both teams remain aligned in all matters relating to CRM.
Job Purpose:
To support the group marketing function in:
Leveraging the business' sales/marketing CRM tool (Hubspot) in acquiring, nurturing and converting leads to opportunities.
Supporting the Sales Team in identifying the highest quality leads and ensuring they have ready access to the data.
Ensuring the delivery of all projects and campaigns is managed according to defined budgets and agreed timescales.
Accountabilities:
Planning and Co-ordination
Managing our contact database, driving significant growth through acquisition, developing segmentation strategies for effective targeting of future campaigns and keeping all data clean and accurate.
Managing the day-to-day use and optimisation of Hubspot working closely with our sales and locations team to connect all data points and user flows.
Working with other teams to prioritise and action internal CRM requests for support, training, issues, new functionality etc.
Leading CRM integration with any new page additions to the website, primarily via lead gen forms.
Supporting the onboarding of new brands as they are acquired through the M&A Team. This could include landing pages, data capture forms for the website, replicating existing workflows and automated emails to facilitate each new location's lead generation and nurture.
Testing user journeys to ensure CRM workflows are correctly set up and identifying any areas for improvements
Developing the email and data segmentation strategy for both existing customers and new prospects to drive higher engagement and retention.
Working with the Email Marketing & Customer Communications Coordinator on the email marketing strategy, including end-to-end delivery of all campaigns.
Monitoring email performance and deliverability and make recommendations for ongoing improvements.
Ensuring best practices are followed and communicated with the team.
Resourcing
Ensuring the correct allocation and prioritisation of resources to maximise commercial opportunities in line with the group's priorities.
Maintaining a minimum 3-month rolling plan of email campaigns (including test activities) for the acquisition, nurturing and conversion of web traffic; ensuring the team is resourced to deliver upon the agreed campaigns
Ensure the right tools and systems are in place for scalable growth.
Liaising with the wider marketing team to ensure the email team has access to a regular production line of high-quality, relevant materials that support in engaging and nurturing lead
Required skills and experience
A proven track record of experience of working in a CRM / Data /Automation role and experience of working in a Marketing role, with a strong focus on email marketing
Highly familiar with Hubspot Enterprise - how to leverage lead scoring, lead nurturing and automation tools to maximise efficiency and leverage full-funnel strategies to drive the generation of high quality opportunities.
Ability to track and evaluate the performance of emails and other marketing campaigns
Knowledge of digital marketing and CRM methodologies (LTV, Retention, Loyalty, upsell & cross-sale)
Ability to present and interpret data to the senior management team
Ability to troubleshoot and investigate issues based on data points
Understanding of data evaluation concepts such as A/B testing and statistical significance
Knowledge of customer journey mapping and experience in executing multi-channel campaigns
Experience in working with customer data, including permissions, data protection, GDPR, segmentation
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
An ability to work well within a team.
Excellent and meticulous attention to detail.
Well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Candidates with any/all of the following skills and experience will have an advantage:
Hubspot Academy certifications
Proficiency in HTML
Knowledge of the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) market.
Experience promoting Software-as-a-Service products.
