What's the job?





This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of parts inventory management across our Australia and New Zealand network. As Group Parts Inventory Controller, reporting to the General Manager - Group Operations and leading a highly capable team, you will play a key role in optimising ordering and redistribution processes, pricing and margins, critical parts list management, and new product introduction.



Key responsibilities include:



Overseeing and supporting the accuracy, integrity, and optimisation of the Parts Inventory Management System and ERP platform. Building and maintaining strong relationships with OEM suppliers, including negotiating pricing and managing returns. Working closely with Parts Operations teams to ensure alignment on objectives and visibility of network and market activity. Monitoring the competitive landscape for parts pricing and ensuring pricing strategies meet company goals. Ensuring new machinery introduced to the market is supported with appropriate parts coverage and stocking strategies. Developing and maintaining critical parts listings to ensure adequate coverage at both local and central levels. Understanding and improving stock quality profiles over time. Leading and developing the Parts Control team to ensure high engagement and alignment with Landpower's core values.



Who are you?



An experienced Parts Stock Controller with a proven track record in stock management including fill rates, stock turn, stock quality, and pricing approaches. Ideally, someone with experience using advanced parts forecasting systems such as Syncron. Highly organised, structured, and efficient in your approach to work. A collaborative communicator who responds constructively to feedback and works proactively with others to ensure the right parts are held at the right time. Someone with a sound understanding of machinery: how it functions, how it operates, and when it is used. Skilled in data analysis and trend identification. Confident and capable with Excel. A people-focused leader who can develop and inspire others while fostering a performance-based culture.
