Salary - 55,000 - 65,000

Your new role...




As the

Group Projects Manager

you will manage and deliver a portfolio of complex, multi-thread, multi-site, high value projects and work with key stakeholders to align priorities, manage resource capacity/availability and forecast project pipelines.


The ideal candidate in this role will have production and business process experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of our Group Projects in alignment with the Group Portfolio Management Stakeholder.


As a key part of Group Project delivery capability, the

Group Projects Manager

you will work closely with Project Sponsors to form, engage and motivate stakeholder groups to effectively collaborate toward common goals for delivering our Portfolio to Time, Budget and Quality.


The role will be expected to take accountability for preparing and presenting updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of change innovation is being achieved.

As the Project Manager you will:



Be responsible for estimating and pricing of the project elements of workstream projects and tenders to effectively scope the project requirements. Run Project Definition Workshops to define requirements and accurately scope project outcomes. Shape the stakeholder and project teams on complex, multi-threaded, multi-site, high value projects to deliver outcomes in line with project definition. Coordinate and plan resource requirements to ensure project outcome deadlines are adhered to. Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally to achieve project objectives. Be responsible for stakeholder management reports through relevant tools to provide up to date information on project progress. Responsible for the required project documentation to enable successful project outcomes. Responsible for ensuring projects consistently adhere to Lantern's internal governance framework.

What you'll need:



Prior experience in merger and acquisition projects A strong track record in portfolio delivery, assurance, governance and methodology. A background of actively contributing to, and being accountable for, engagement outcomes and delivering operational excellence from the portfolio's delivered. Experienced in the management of key stakeholders to ensure they deliver project objectives, driving workloads and ensuring the quality of the project delivery. Responsible for maximizing resource allocation based on resource availability and prioritised projects. Managing virtual teams across multiple locations and will understand where the focus needs to be on technology-oriented projects, across Applications, Security or Infrastructure type IT / Data and Systems projects. A track record of managing a portfolio of Project, reporting into senior management on key metrics such as cost, risk, time and quality. Experience of conflict management and issue resolution, being confident to challenge and clarify individual responsibilities and ensuring project timelines are kept on track.
