Main Purpose of Job

To provide Governance of the Suppliers into Oscar Mayer.

To drive compliance and continuous improvement in:

The Ability of the Suppliers to deliver safe materials and products To ensure that the Oscar Mayer Standards are met. The audit reporting and risk assessment of the Oscar Mayer Suppliers

Key Responsibilities

To complete the Supplier Audits as per the frequency deemed necessary through the Oscar Mayer Risk Assessment To complete per-approval audits and reviews audits as per the schedule. To ensure that the audit report is completed fully and detailed to the supplier within 1 week of the audit (non con summary will be left on the day of the audit). Work closely with the Sites when collating information ahead of the supplier audits to ensure that we capture everything that is needed. To ensure that any major or critical concerns are raised with the Group Raw Material Approval Manager & Integrity Lead found during an audit and stopping the audit should the need arise. Follow up on the corrective actions and evidence for close out of any non-conformances raised. Use of the paperless system for approvals and audits when in place. Support the Group Raw Material manager in ensuring that Suppliers are linked to us on SEDEX and running RADAR Risk Assessments for any high-risk suppliers. Complete 1-2 Internal audits at each site under the direction of the Group Raw Material Approval Manager and Integrity Lead and the Group Audit Manager. Support as part of the internal audit team. Work alongside the Group Raw Material Approval Manager and Integrity Lead on any project deemed necessary by the business.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential level of knowledge, qualification, training and experience necessary to enable the Jobholder to perform the job to an acceptable standard

Recognised Auditing Qualification (Lead Assessor etc). Degree or equivalent in a food related discipline (preferable) Food Safety Level 3 as a minimum HACCP Level 3 as a minimum Worked in an Auditor Role with at least 3 years minimum experience. 3 years' experience within Chilled Manufacturing (High Care and / or High Risk)
