Working in a fast-paced and busy internal department, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our systems and infrastructure and play a proactive part in driving innovation and excellence across our organisation.
You will oversee the administration of our internal systems, including servers, networks, hardware, and software applications ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Security is a key word at TIEVA - you'll actively be involved in enforcing security policies and procedures and monitoring systems to safeguard company data and infrastructure, remaining vigilant against potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
And you'll be providing both guidance and support to TIEVA staff right across the business, making sure they have everything they need to work as efficiently and productively as possible.
The Role:
Offer prompt and effective technical support through various channels, including in-person, phone, and online. Anticipate issues and take proactive actions to mitigate them.
Oversee the administration and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, network connectivity (wireless and wired infrastructure), telecommunication systems and other critical hardware/software.
Manage the distribution and inventory of end-user devices and consumables. Ensure the Asset Management Register is accurate and up to date.
Actively seek to improve the security, management and monitoring of all TIEVA's IT assets including servers, endpoints and telephony.
Develop and maintain essential documentation for IT systems and procedures, ensuring information is current and accessible.
Coordinate and execute scheduled maintenance and system upgrades, demonstrating flexibility for out-of-hours work as needed.
Participate in, and lead where appropriate, projects relating to the department.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, including confidentiality, security measures, and overall conduct.
Commit to delivering exceptional service, ensuring effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
Strictly adhere to established processes and understand the significance of compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+).
Attend meetings as necessary and actively engage in constructive participation
