WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Reimagine programme, announced in February 2021, will see us transition to being an electric-first business. The purity of electric is the next natural step. At the heart of Reimagine will be the electrification of both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands.

By the middle of the decade, Jaguar will have undergone a renaissance to emerge as a pure electric luxury brand with a dramatically beautiful new portfolio of emotionally engaging designs and pioneering next-generation technologies. In the next five years, Land Rover will welcome six pure electric variants as it continues to be the world leader of luxury SUVs through its three families of Range Rover, Discovery and Defender. The first all-electric variant will arrive in 2024.

You will lead and implement high quality finance solutions to support the business\'s objectives; balancing the deployment of fixed and variable marketing spend to maximise enterprise value being delivered through proactive finance business partnering at the highest level, coaching and challenging business leaders to ensure the right decisions are made.

THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee JLR\'s financing, investments and cash management, bank relations, foreign exchange and financial risk management, pension finance and insurance
  • Oversee JLR investor relations, including quarterly results presentations and investor calls, investor days and managing rating agency relationships
  • Manage daily cash balances and trading in the financial markets
  • Creating solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial or treasury knowledge
  • Build strong relationships with banks to support JLR banking needs
  • Develop cash investment strategy and oversee c. \xc2\xa34 billion cash portfolio in deposits, money market funds, government bonds and tri-party repo
  • Develop FX and commodity rolling hedging strategies for up to a 5-year horizon with an FX hedge portfolio
  • Responsible for pension financial matters, including negotiation of triennial valuations, investment strategy consultation with Trustees, etc.
  • Responsible for Corporate insurance, including General Liability, Property, D&O and other insurance classes with strong coverage and cost-effective pricing
