About Hyatt Regency London Olympia




Hyatt Regency London Olympia will be part of a major redevelopment project transforming Olympia, London's historic convention centre built in 1873, into a comprehensive convention, entertainment, and cultural district in West London. Anchored by the iconic glass barrel-vaulted roofs of the Grand and National Halls, the new 14-acre site will feature a boutique multi-screen arthouse cinema, a 4,000-capacity music and performing arts venue, a 1,500-seat theatre, a rooftop sky garden, as well as restaurants, shops, cafes, and office and co-working spaces.


Hyatt Regency London Olympia will offer 204 rooms, a bar and restaurant, as well as a lobby lounge. Additionally, there will be three meeting rooms and direct connectivity to the London Olympia Convention Centre.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Groups & Events Manager role



Manage group and event enquiries from initial contact to post-event follow-up, ensuring prompt communication, accurate proposals, and exceptional client satisfaction. Plan and coordinate all event details (corporate, social, and group bookings), including rate quotations, logistics, and collaboration with third-party suppliers. Conduct site inspections and client meetings to understand requirements and present offerings confidently and professionally. Communicate effectively with internal operational teams to ensure seamless event execution and a consistent guest experience. Maintain meticulous records of all bookings and event details within internal systems, ensuring accuracy and clarity for all departments. Develop and implement strategies to attract and convert new business, cultivating long-term relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event planners. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Events, and Operations to support promotional initiatives and deliver high-quality, memorable events. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance event offerings and drive repeat business.

About you




You have experience managing groups and/or events, ideally within a hotel environment. You bring a strong passion for planning, service excellence, and delivering memorable events and guest experiences.
