Job Description
Pro-Tect GRP Enclosures Limited is one of the leading manufactures of bespoke GRP Enclosures within the UK, and a market leader within the GRP sector.
As Pro-Tect GRP Enclosures Limited continues to grow within the UK and European market, we are now looking to strengthen our manufacturing team with additional 'Assembly Operatives'.
Pro-Tect GRP Enclosures Limited is looking to employ a competent
GRP
Assembler
to join its workforce. Experience in this role is advantageous and a background in carpentry work essential. Associated skills in the use of power tools, working within the construction industry (carpentry) or previous GRP experience is desirable for the role.The right candidate will be looking to pursue a career within the GRP sector.
The successful candidates will be required to:
Assemble and fit out GRP enclosures to a high standard in accordance with technical drawings Meet all targets and deadlines Work in accordance with the ISO 9001 certified quality management system Keep the assembly area clean and tidy Abide by health and safety procedures Undertake any other duties as and when necessary Have the ability to read and work from technical drawings
The following qualities are desirable for this vacancy:
Accuracy and attention to detail Excellent practical skills Strong communication skills Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual Working knowledge of Health and Safety processes
The successful candidates will be required to undertake training as part of the role :
The training will include:
The safe use of woodworking machinery Counterbalance Forklift Abrasive Wheels
Wage Structure: To be discussed during interview - Wage to be negotiated depending on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.55-12.95 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
