Summary

As an important member of the GRP team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all components are fabricated accurately and timely to ensure products meet the build schedule and despatch deadline. This position will also involve woodwork assembly, basic joinery work and working to basic drawings.

Responsibilities

Reading and understanding engineering drawings Working with hand and power tools, panel saws etc Working to set production targets Ability to safely move production parts Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of machines Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures. Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs. Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system. Adherence to company health and safety procedures. Maintain a clean and tidy works area

Requirements

Previous experience working in a joinery workshop Ability to work on your own or as part of a team Ability to adjust to change e.g. job machine/process Ability to fault find, trouble shoot, diagnose and resolve issues Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
