This is a full-time on-site role for a GSE Maintenance Manager located at Birmingham Airport (Cargo). The GSE Maintenance Manager will be responsible for vehicle and equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs for aircraft ground operations vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting skills
Experience in Preventive Maintenance
Ability to conduct basic vehicle and equipment repairs
Strong communication skills
Mechanical experience
Previous experience in aviation ground handling is a plus
Responsibilities
Diagnose faults and conduct repairs on aviation ground equipment such as high loaders, tugs, belt loaders etc.
Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Evaluate and enhance maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
