We are looking for an innovative, self-starting individual with a passion for working in the busy and dynamic bus & rail industry.

Key Responsibilities

To plan and manage replacement buses and coaches to provide journeys to a timetable when the rail service is disrupted due to pre-planned and emergency requirements. Responsible for the quality of our customer-focused response. To provide efficient and effective administrative support. Work effectively with external suppliers and colleagues. Always have a duty of care for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues, including a duty to report unsafe acts or omissions of safety. To undertake any other duties commensurate with the role.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

An individual who can develop effective working relations with suppliers and colleagues Can handle high pressure situations in a calm, professional and logical manner. It will be desirable if applicants can demonstrate previous experience administering logistics or passenger transport. The post involves shift-working on a rota basis covering Day & Night shift on a four on four off pattern.

Transport UK London Bus operates bus services across London on behalf of TFL, plus rail replacement and event services across the UK. We operate approximately 11 per cent of the capital's world famous red bus network, running around 950 vehicles and employing around 2,900 employees across six busy depots in Central, South and West London. We run a number of routes, carrying over 150 million passengers a year on TfL's contracted bus network.
