We are looking for a GTS Academy Support Assistant to support the Learning, Engagement & Inclusion team for a 12 months fixed term contract. The role will play a key part in the re-development of our Learning Management system so experience in this areas is essential. You will key aadministrative, planning and coordination support to ensure our training programmes, systems and people initiatives run smoothly and consistently across GTS. This is a varied and collaborative role, ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, problem-solving and working with stakeholders across the business.




What You Will Do:




Develop, maintain and support the Totara Learning Management System (LMS), including setting up programmes and training journeys Source, coordinate and book internal and external training courses Manage training room bookings and oversee the upkeep of training facilities Respond to enquiries via shared inboxes and provide support across the team. Produce training and performance reports for the People team and wider business Support the onboarding process for new starters in collaboration with IT and HR Manage procurement activities within the team and maintain budget tracking spreadsheets Provide ad hoc admin, planning and logistics support as required Step in to support customer-facing colleagues during disruption as part of the step-in programme



What You Will Bring




Must have experience of Learning Management Systems, Totara experience would be an advantage Experienced Learning and Development administrator Experience working with Microsoft Office and databases, particularly Excel Good written communication skills and attention to detail Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload Confidence working independently and taking a proactive approach to problem solving Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels Ability to analyse information, produce reports and make improvement recommendations A customer-focused mindset with a collaborative, relationship-building approach Flexibility and resilience when responding to changing priorities or increased workload GCSE-level (or equivalent) Maths, English and IT skills
