Pentahotel Reading is looking for a dedicated professional to join our friendly and well regarded team as a Guest Service Agent within our F&B . Our hotel provides a fun and relaxed space with service that is welcoming and personal. Whether it's the hotel's retro and relaxed ambience, the casually dressed professional staff team or the games console being played in the lounge; this is a fun place to work and a fabulous place for guests to enjoy.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional people skills and enjoy working with a busy and passionate staff, across the hotel. You will be well presented, eager to exceed customer expectations and be able to deliver a warm and welcoming approach.
You will ideally have experience within a similar role or have worked in a customer service, hotel reception or a M&E environment.
Full time position, 40 Hours.
Key responsibilities
Event preparation:
Assist with setting up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and place settings to precise specifications.Guest service:
Deliver food and beverages to guests, adhering to high standards of service and presentation.Food and beverage knowledge:
Have a strong knowledge of event menus, including dishes, ingredients, and potential allergens, to confidently answer guest questions.Team collaboration:
Work closely with the events and kitchen teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all service aspects.Guest relations:
Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs and promptly addressing any requests or concerns.Event clear-down:
Assist with the efficient and meticulous clearing of event spaces once the function is complete.Attributes
