Could you be our friendly face for PH Hostel Liverpool?

PH Hostel Liverpool is looking for a dedicated professional to join our friendly and well regarded Front of House team as a Guest Service Agent - Nights. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a memorable experience.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional people skills and enjoy working with a busy and passionate staff, across all the front of house aspect of the business. You will be well presented, eager to exceed customer expectations and be able to deliver a warm and welcoming approach.

You will ideally have experience within a similar role or have worked in customer service.

Key responsibilities



Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly and positive attitude Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently using Cloudbeds PMS, ensuring accurate guest data entry Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Provide information about hostel amenities, local attractions, transport options and services to guests Ensure that guest records are updated and that billing procedures are followed correctly Assist with reservations, including group bookings, cancellations, and modifications Monitor hostel security and safety, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests Support housekeeping and maintenance teams by communication guest requests and issues Handle administrative tasks, including filing and maintaining records as required Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment and assist in other departments on occasion.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities and calmness under pressure Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to multitask and handle a variety or responsibilities A positive and approachable attitude, with a genuine desire to help others Comfortable working with technology and multiple systems (previous experience with a hotel PMS is a plus, but not essential) Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred A passion for travel/hospitality and a keen interest in working in a vibrant, multicultural environment

Pay: 20,317.44 per year
