We're looking for a
diligent, warm, and proactive Guest Service Assistant
on a
24-hour contract

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
Front Desk Duties:
Maintaining a calm, clean, and welcoming atmosphere throughout public areas
Delivering a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure
Greeting guests with confidence and warmth, always going the extra mile
Handling phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently
Managing check-ins, check-outs, payments, and reservation amendments
Maintaining guest confidentiality and following security procedures
Offering tailored local recommendations as a city host
Updating bookings and guest profiles in Rezlynx (or other PMS systems)
Liaising with housekeeping to ensure timely room readiness
Reporting and following up on maintenance issues
Morning Breakfast Set-Up & Support:
Setting up the complimentary breakfast station with pastries, hot drinks, and crockery
Clearing and bussing tables during busy morning periods
Keeping the breakfast and lobby area clean, tidy, and well-presented
Replenishing supplies and supporting guests with breakfast queries
Guest Experience & Upselling:
Taking pride in the appearance of public spaces and front desk
Supporting the team in maintaining high service standards
Handling guest feedback with empathy and initiative
Encouraging guest reviews upon departure
Upselling room types and promoting exclusive partner offers
Security & Emergency Support:
Understanding emergency procedures and fire safety responsibilities
Logging lost property and supporting front-of-house security, especially on quiet shifts
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a
strong sense of responsibility
, a flair for service, and great attention to detail. You'll play a key role in shaping the guest experience from start to finish, whether it's a warm welcome, a seamless check-out, or a helpful tip about the city.
You'll need to be comfortable working
early and late shifts
, with flexibility to support weekend rotas.
