Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a warm welcome. This role is crucial in creating a positive experience for all visitors, handling inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.

Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanour. Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently. Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions. Process reservations and cancellations in the hotel management system. Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organised front desk area. Collaborate with other hotel departments to fulfil guest requests and enhance their experience. Assist with administrative tasks as required, including filing reports and managing correspondence.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette for handling calls professionally. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in using hotel management software and basic computer applications. A positive attitude and willingness to assist guests at all times.
