Our what now? Well, as a Guest Service Supervisor on nights, you're our first point of contact for visiting and hotel guests at night, right in the heart of it all, the pentalounge. That's quite a big deal in pentaland. You'll be the one who meets and greets, and helps to make sure guests have a memorable stay for all the right reasons.

Guests will instantly feel at home - thanks to you You'll give them great tips on what to do in Reading You'll mix legendary cocktails and serve them refreshments and snacks You'll be a familiar face around the hotel, remembering guests' name They'll remember you because you'll be the one who says goodbye, until next time! Well written communications are a zero problem for you. you know how to teach the same skills to your team and enjoy seeing your team thrive 360 vision comes naturally, and so does staying cool under pressure
In a nutshell, you'll make everything run smoothly for our guests. For our part, we promise that you'll never be bored. You'll be learning new things every day and you'll be having fun while you do it.
Key responsibilities

Duty managing shifts in the absence of the Guest Service Manager Checking guests in and out of the hotel Dealing with guest enquiries and feedback (face to face, via e-mails and online) Taking payments Answering & making calls Serving food in our restaurant and drinks at the bars Delivering & collecting room service Ensuring that the lounge area, reception & bar are kept clean and presentable Working with all departments to maintain a high quality service for our customers Interviewing and recruitment Other administrative tasks when and if required
