Job Description

Aim:

We are looking to employee a Cleaning and Guest services Assistant to help with day to day cleaning, checking cottages and guest services activities.

The Company:

The Valley was developed in 2005 on the site of an existing holiday park with the objective of improving the quality of accommodation offered and extending the current season. It is a prestigious 5 star resort consisting of 46 architect designed contemporary cottages set in 13 acres of country valley with restaurant, bar, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and squash courts.

Objectives:

To Clean cottages as and when required To help check the other cleaners cleans and ensure high cleanliness levels across the cottages. To take, record and respond to bookings. To assist management of onsite activities to improve guest experiences To help manage the onsite and offsite guest services. To aid the buying of materials essential to keeping The Valleys 5 star standard and continued high customer satisfaction. To help manage the relationship with Suppliers; including Cleaners. To help manage the up keep of the cleanliness of the Valley's cottages and facilities. To help manage the housekeeping.
Hours of work are 3 - 4 days per week, including weekends, 9am - 5pm/6pm

Typical Week in Peak season

This is just an example to help show balance between cleaning/guest services, the days may vary slightly ensuring you don't have to work every weekend.

Friday - start at 10am/11am finish 5pm/6pm; either clean cottages or check after other cleaners

Saturday - Guest Services/Reception - Start at 9am and finish5/6pm

Sunday - Guest Services/Reception - Start at 9am and finish5/6pm

Monday - start at 10am/11am finish 5pm/6pm; either clean cottages or check after other cleaners

Required Personal skills and qualifications:

The jobholder must hold a current driving license or live very locally.

Desirable Requirements:

Excellent self-motivation skills

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Full clean driving license

Demonstrable experience of working on own initiative

Use of a car
