Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating press brake machinery. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal components to meet production specifications.

Working Week 4 Days.

7.00 - 17.30 Mon - Wed

7.00 - 16.30 Thu

Overtime paid after 39h

39h - 48h paid at time and a half

All overtime after 48h is paid at Double time

Duties

Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal sheets according to engineering specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements. Utilise hand tools and power tools for the fabrication and assembly of metal parts. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Assist with heavy lifting of materials as required during the production process. Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and efficiency within the warehouse environment.

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating press brake machinery is essential. Familiarity with various power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous. Ability to sew, fabricate, and assemble components as needed. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Capability of performing heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
