. This role offers children the opportunity to learn the basics of guitar playing while developing rhythm, confidence, and musical creativity in a fun and supportive setting.
The club runs
Thursdays, 3:15pm - 4:15pm (1 hour per week).
Key Responsibilities
Teach and supervise small groups of primary-aged children in beginner-friendly guitar activities.
Plan and deliver enjoyable, age-appropriate lessons that build musical understanding, technique, and confidence.
Encourage creativity, engagement, and a love of music in each session.
Maintain clear communication with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children's progress.
Ensure instruments and the teaching space are safe, organised, and prepared for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching guitar to children in schools, clubs, or private lesson settings.
Ability to inspire and motivate young learners in a structured yet enjoyable environment.
Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents.
A background in music education, performance, or teaching is desirable.
