Popular London music school looking for a Guitar only or Guitar and Drum teacher for one to one lessons. Should be able to teach acoustic, classical and electric guitar up to grade 8. If you are able to also teacher drums then this would be an advantage.

We are pleased to offer a full-time position for a dedicated and passionate music teacher providing one to one lessons in our studios (one location, no need to travel). Below are the key details of the role:

Schedule: 5 days a week ( can work 6 days if you wish boost earnings)

Hours: 27-34 hours per week (option to increase hours)

Hourly Rate: 20.00

Holidays: 11 weeks of holidays annually

Option to conduct extra lessons during holidays for additional income.
We are looking for a teacher who wants to make teaching a lifelong career and a long term commitment to our music school.

We require the following:

A) Teach the following subjects on a one-to-one lesson basis.

B) Guitar up to grade 8 / if able to teach drums up to grade 8 that would be an advantage

C) Music Theory up to Grade 5

D) Able to prepare students for the following grades:

1) ABRSM ( classical)

2) TRINITY( classical and pop rock)

E) Take part in and help with our school performances and shows

F) Has two years of teaching experience with young children and adults

G) Can provide at least one reference

H) A valid DBS certificate (Disclosure of Barring Service)

I) Can show proof of right to work in the UK (National Insurance Number)

J) Has Public Liability Insurance (if successful the school can show you how to apply for this and it is usually 100 - 110 a year)

K) Can work through all three terms of the school year
