Job Description

Music school Rhythm Room seeks a passionate, enthusiastic guitar teacher to join our team and teach at three primary schools around Hemel Hempstead, starting January 2026.

There is three hours of work on Tuesday across two schools as well as two hours on a Monday at a third school. The days are flexible, depending on the teacher's availability.

The successful applicant will be willing to come in to the schools and perform inspiring assemblies with the rest of the team to generate interest in their lessons. The ideal applicant is someone fairly local and able to easily commute to Hemel Hempstead, with a good work ethic and is someone that works well in a team environment.

The ideal applicant will have a driving license and full use of a car.

Applicants will need to be able to read and teach music theory, experience with the Rock School and Trinity grading systems is a bonus.

We also work with a few other schools in the surrounding counties so a new member of the team will likely be given opportunities for peripatetic work in other schools.
