We are seeking a passionate and energetic Guitar Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels to discover the joy of playing the guitar. In this dynamic role, you will deliver engaging lessons that foster musical growth, technical proficiency, and confidence. Current Opportunity
Tuesday: 4:15pm - 7:00pm (with the potential to extend to more hours and days)
Duties
Develop and implement customized guitar lesson plans tailored to each student's skill level, interests, and learning style
Teach fundamental guitar techniques, including reading music, chords, scales, strumming patterns, and music theory
Incorporate diverse teaching methods such as curriculum development, classroom management, and interactive tutoring to enhance student engagement
Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for learners of all ages
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement
Prepare students for performances or assessments by guiding practice routines and stage presence
Collaborate with parents or guardians for younger students and communicate regularly about student development and achievements
Skills
Strong expertise in guitar playing across various genres and styles
Excellent teaching abilities with a focus on classroom management and behavior management strategies
Proven experience working with children, early childhood education, preschool experience and special education settings
Ability to adapt teaching approaches for students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds
Strong communication skills to foster a positive learning environment and motivate students of all ages
