Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behaviour. Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the school community. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational trends.

Requirements

Been privately teaching a minimum of 1 year Taken the Grade 8 exam Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching young learners. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Experience in using technology as an educational tool is advantageous. Be comfortable teaching all ages and abilities Be happy to put students through exams Be aware of the GCSE music specifications
