Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring and teaching, with experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. As a Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing students' learning experiences and helping them achieve their academic goals.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop personalised lesson plans that align with the curriculum and address specific learning objectives. Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to build students' confidence. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Support students with special educational needs by employing appropriate teaching methods and resources. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in subjects relevant to the students' needs. Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and adaptability in various learning situations. Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
