Guitar Tutors required for Rock! Music School.

We are looking for talented, passionate and friendly musicians to join our Tutors team in Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas.

The role will be as a Guitar Tutor at our Rock School, delivering Musical Instrument Tuition on Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard and/or Drum Kit, working with children and adults of all abilities aged 6 - 18 years (especially those with special educational needs) on music based projects in the local area. There are also opportunities to join our Private Tuition team and attend, teach and perform at various and regular social activity clubs, events and concerts. Hours will vary based on demand and availability. A little teaching experience preferred but not essential as continuous training and support will be given. Experience working with SEN children and adults preferred. This position is on a self-employed basis.

The successful candidates will be:

Competent at playing Guitar in a band setting across various genres of music. (Ability to play other instruments a bonus!)

Passionate about playing music and the importance of sharing it with others.

Kind, patient and outgoing.

Have great communication skills with children and adults alike, especially those with SEN.

Able to drive with a full UK Driving License.

Registered as Self-Employed with proof of a UTC.

Ability to sing is a bonus but not essential.

A full DBS check will be given.
