As a Gym Assistant at GymLab (part of North Somerset Sports Foundation), you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting gym operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Front Desk: Greet members, handle check-ins, manage bookings, and assist with membership inquiries.
Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness of gym spaces, sanitize equipment, and follow hygiene protocols.
Opening & Closing Duties: Prepare the gym for operation and secure the site at closing.
Site Maintenance & Safety: Conduct safety checks, report maintenance issues, and enforce health & safety policies.
Member Assistance: Guide members on equipment use, provide basic fitness support, and encourage engagement.
Food & Drink Service: Prepare and serve beverages while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Operations & Sales Support: Restock supplies, assist with promotions, and support membership sales.
Emergency Handling: Follow emergency procedures and provide basic first aid when needed.
This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to gym operations.
