We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and child-focused

After School Club Assistant

to support the delivery of our

Gymnastics club every Thursday

. You will assist the lead coach with session preparation and supervision, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and enjoying themselves throughout the club.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in setting up and packing down equipment before and after sessions Support the lead coach in delivering fun, structured gymnastic activities Supervise children during sessions, promoting positive behaviour and inclusion Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants Engage positively with children, encouraging participation and teamwork Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and colleagues as needed Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies at all times

Person Specification

Essential:

Experience working with children (voluntary or paid) Previous experience within Gymnastics Enthusiastic, approachable, and proactive Ability to work well as part of a team Reliable and punctual

Desirable:

Qualifications in childcare or Gymnastics coaching First Aid or Safeguarding Training (or willingness to obtain one) Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
