Casual Gymnastics Coach
to deliver gymnastics and dance sessions in schools across the Worthing area.
Job Summary:
As a Casual Gymnastics Coach, you will deliver structured and engaging gymnastics lessons to children in primary school settings. You will use your expertise and British Gymnastics training to create a safe and inclusive environment where children can develop fundamental movement and gymnastics skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver safe, fun, and progressive gymnastics sessions aligned with Premier Education's and British Gymnastics' standards.
Lead PE lessons, after-school clubs, and/or holiday camps depending on availability and demand.
Support and adapt delivery for a variety of age groups and abilities (Reception to Year 6).
Ensure equipment is set up and used correctly and safely.
Create a positive, supportive learning environment.
Complete relevant records including attendance registers and incident forms.
Essential Requirements:
A
minimum of British Gymnastics Level 1 coaching qualification
or
RISE Gymnastics qualification
.
Experience coaching gymnastics to children in school or club environments.
Confident leading groups independently and safely.
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Valid First Aid and Child Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain).
Access to reliable transport and ability to travel across the Worthing area.
Desirable:
Experience working in or alongside primary schools.
Additional qualifications in other sports or physical activities.
Flexible availability across school hours, including before and after school.
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly pay ranges from 12-20
, depending on age, qualifications, and experience.

Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)
Teaching physical education: 1 year (preferred)
