Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with a focus on developing gymnastic skills in athletes of varying ages and abilities. This role requires an enthusiastic individual who can inspire and motivate students while ensuring a safe and supportive training environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging gymnastics training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes. Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, techniques, and routines in a clear and effective manner. Provide constructive feedback to athletes to enhance their performance and confidence. Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a clean and hazard-free training area. Monitor progress and assess the development of each athlete, adjusting training plans as necessary. Foster a positive team environment that encourages cooperation, respect, and sportsmanship among athletes. Organise and participate in gymnastics events, competitions, and showcases as required. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably in gymnastics or related disciplines. Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, safety protocols, and coaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both children and adults. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for training sessions or events. A genuine passion for promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being through gymnastics. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to pursue further training is essential.
