We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with a commitment to fostering a positive and encouraging environment for gymnasts of all ages and skill levels. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for developing training programmes, teaching techniques, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
Responsibilities
Teach gymnastics skills, techniques, and routines in a safe and supportive manner.
Conduct regular assessments of athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback.
Create an engaging and motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and improvement.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during training sessions.
Organise and lead practice sessions, including warm-ups, drills, and cool-downs.
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other staff members regarding progress and any concerns.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance coaching skills.
Skills
Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines.
Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to engage and inspire young athletes.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback.
Ability to create a positive learning environment that promotes teamwork and personal growth.
Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules and athlete assessments.
