We are currently looking for passionate and reliable Gymnastics Coaches to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Gymnastics Coach at Wandsworth School of Gymnastics, you will deliver engaging and progressive gymnastics sessions to children and young people of all abilities. You'll play a key role in developing gymnasts' skills, confidence, and enjoyment while promoting a positive club culture.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver safe, structured gymnastics classes in line with club programmes
Support gymnasts in developing skills appropriate to their age and level
Provide clear instruction, encouragement, and feedback in every session
Ensure high standards of health and safety and uphold safeguarding policies
Assist with events, competitions, assessments, and displays
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow coaches
Support the ethos of the club -- promoting teamwork, respect, and enjoyment
Requirements
Minimum Level 1 British Gymnastics Coaching qualification (Level 2 desirable)
Experience working with children in a coaching or education setting
Good understanding of safe progressions and gymnastics fundamentals
Positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Safeguarding and First Aid training (or willingness to complete)
Desirable
Experience coaching a variety of age groups (including preschool, recreational, or squad)
Additional qualifications in tumbling, acro, or freestyle gymnastics
Ability to coach both recreational and more advanced gymnasts
A commitment to creating an inclusive and child-focused environment
