Overview:

We are looking for a passionate coach to join SportsfulMinds as a part time member of our team. Specifically, we are looking for a Gymnastics coach who can work from 3:00 - 4:15 every Thursday during term time. However, we have more opportunities for work if desired!

SportsfulMinds is a company dedicated to delivering sports sessions with a mindful approach. We work predominantly with children aged 5-11 looking to inspire them to lead a healthy, active and mindful lifestyle through creating enjoyable and unforgettable experiences of sport.

Role Includes:

Plan and deliver engaging, fun gymnastics sessions delivering fun activities to primary school children that focus on participation, development, and enjoyment. Instruct and educate gymnasts on proper techniques, skills, and routines. Take on a nurturing role with children who need support. Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Take full responsibility for all children in your sessions, ensuring everyone remains safe throughout the sessions. Be comfortable in communicating with parents of the children taking part in your sessions. Be punctual and professional. At all times behave in a manner that reflects the core Values of SportsfulMinds

To Be Considered For This Role:

Gymnastics Coaching Qualifications (at least Level 1) Safeguarding qualification. First Aid Certificate is desired Valid DBS Have a coaching philosophy that aligns with SportsfulMinds philosophy regarding mindful coaching. Understanding of positive behaviour management and classroom management skills Have experience working with children in a gymnastics environment (at least 1 year). Eligible to work in UK. Can provide own transport.
