About the Role



We're expanding into

Men's Artistic Gymnastics

and are on the hunt for a motivated coach to help us bring it to life.

This is a

unique opportunity

to build a MAG programme from the ground up as part of a growing and passionate community club. The successful applicant will play a leading role in designing and delivering the programme, while also contributing to the wider development of the club.

In the early stages, the role will involve supporting existing sessions -- including recreational and other programmes -- while the MAG pathway is developed.

We're after someone who:

Lives and breathes gymnastics. Has the drive to build something meaningful. Understands what it takes to run a club -- not just coach in one. Wants to be part of a not-for-profit organisation that genuinely values people.

Requirements



Level 3 MAG coaching qualification

(or working toward it) Up-to-date

Enhanced DBS

Safeguarding certification

First Aid

desirable Excellent communication, initiative, and a proactive mindset Willingness to support across other disciplines/programmes where needed

Leadership or admin experience within a gymnastics club Ideas and ambition to help shape the direction of a brand-new MAG programme Being the type who turns up early and still wants to learn more

Responsibilities



Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the individual needs of gymnasts. Educate athletes on proper techniques, safety practices, and the importance of physical fitness. Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback. Create a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages participation and skill development. Organise and lead sessions, ensuring all equipment is safe and properly maintained. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss athlete progress and address any concerns. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, gymnastics trends, and safety regulations. More leadership and administration responsibilities for the right applicant

Skills



Strong background in sports coaching, with experience in gymnastics. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate athletes and engage with parents. Ability to motivate and inspire young gymnasts to achieve their personal best. Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules and athlete assessments. Knowledge of safety protocols related to gymnastics training. A passion for working with children and fostering their love for sport.

Pay: From 24,000.00 per year
