Responsibilities:

Develop and implement training programs for gymnasts of all skill levels Provide individualized coaching to help athletes improve their technique and performance Create a positive and motivating training environment for athletes Monitor and track athlete progress and provide feedback for improvement Ensure the safety of athletes during training sessions Collaborate with other coaches to coordinate training schedules and competitions
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a gymnastics coach is essential Certification in gymnastics coaching (e.g. British Gymnastics L2 or above Gymnastics Coach Qualification) Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques and safety protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire athletes Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Applications for this role are welcomed from experienced, qualified, coaches. Candidates must hold a minimum of a British Gymnastics Level 2 coach qualification in any discipline and be willing to complete training in additional discipline(s) if required. Pay rate is dependant on qualifications and the nature of additional responsibilities assigned to the successful candidate.

We anticipate this role being full time (40 hours per week) however are willing to consider a substantive part time (not less than 24 hours) contract or job share for the right candidate(s). Evening and weekend work is required as most of our coaching occurs outside of school time however for those taking on more substantial contracted hours weekday working is also possible and admin time will be provided to complete any agreed additional responsibilities. All of our staff must have the flexibility to carry out additional roles, such as working on reception, serving in the cafe and party supervision, as required. Full training will be provided

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check and referencing as part of our safer recruitment procedures.
