Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and develop young athletes in a safe and encouraging environment. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will play a crucial role in fostering a love for gymnastics while promoting physical fitness, discipline, and teamwork among participants.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging training programmes tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced gymnasts. Conduct regular coaching sessions following plans structured on focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, and overall performance improvement. Provide constructive feedback and support to athletes to enhance their skills and confidence. Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a secure training environment and adhering to safety protocols. Attend internal competitions as required. Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and other staff members regarding progress, goals, and any concerns. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and gymnastics trends to continually improve coaching methods.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines. A level 1 qualification is preffered but not essential as training can be provided. Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young participants. Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently. A passion for promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among youth. Pay: 7.71-12.52 per hour
