Expected 15mins before class and 15mins after class - Total 2hrs15mins

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a desire to educate young athletes in the art of gymnastics. This role involves working closely with gymnasts of varying skill levels, fostering their development, and ensuring a safe and supportive training environment.

Classes are every Saturday term time

Duties

Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual gymnasts. Educate athletes on proper techniques, safety protocols, and competition preparation. Conduct regular training sessions, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance. Monitor the progress of each gymnast and adjust training methods as necessary. Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among all participants. Organise and participate in competitions, ensuring all athletes are well-prepared. Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff to foster a positive atmosphere.
Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines, is highly desirable. A background in physical education or sports science would be advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes. Knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety practices is essential. A commitment to continuous professional development in coaching methodologies is preferred. MUST have valid enhanced DBS
