Band 6 Haemodialysis Nurse 25 hours hours per week
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 6 months Haemodialysis experience, must have mentorship course or equivalent qualification.
As the Band 6 you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining safe and effective care so that it meets the Trust's, CQC and Renal Standards. You will be responsible for taking charge of a busy unit in the absence of the Renal Unit Sister, you will also take part in an on-call rota system.
You will need excellent leadership, organisational and management skills.
The Haemodialysis Unit in Carlisle consists of 14 stations caring for chronic haemodialysis patients and those with an acute onset of Renal Failure. We also have a Satellite Unit based at Whitehaven which has 11 stations, which you may be asked to cover for sickness and annual leave.
Carlisle Renal unit is open from 06.30 - 01.00 am Monday - Saturday. We also provide an on call service on a Sunday. Shift patterns will be discussed at interview
