We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for all clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell services will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Duties

Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling, tailored to meet individual client needs. Perform additional beauty services such as makeup application and eyelash extensions as required. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards. Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on hair care products and styling techniques. Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue. Assist with front desk duties, including booking appointments, managing schedules, and handling client inquiries. Participate in ongoing training and mentoring of junior staff members to foster a collaborative team environment. Contribute to store management by helping maintain inventory levels and ensuring the salon operates smoothly.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Proficiency in barbering techniques is an advantage but not essential. Experience in makeup application and eyelash extensions is desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks. A valid cosmetology or hairdressing qualification is required.

Pay: 18,315.00-20,000.00 per year
