Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, motivated SalonManager to lead our Chelmsford branch and play a key role in the continued growth of GHOST.
This is a hands-on role where you will run your own column while managing, motivating, and developing the salon team to hit company targets and deliver an exceptional client experience.
The Role
As Salon Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the salon while maintaining a high-quality column of your own clients.
You will lead by example on the salon floor, setting the standard for technical work, client care, rebooking, retail, and treatments, while driving the commercial performance of the business.
You will be fully supported by the wider management team, with management and soft skills training to help you develop as a leader and confidently manage people, performance, and targets.
Key Responsibilities
Run your own client column to a high technical and service standard
Lead, motivate, and manage the salon team on and off the floor
Drive revenue growth and ensure company KPIs are achieved
Set the standard for client experience, rebooking, retail, and treatment sales
Onboard, and develop team members in line with GHOST standards
Carry out regular one-to-ones, coaching, and performance management
Manage rotas, absence, and daily operational standards
Handle client concerns professionally and confidently
Ensure all brand, HR, and operational procedures are followed consistently
What We're Looking For
Willing to work 4 or 5 days a week including Saturday
Fully qualified hairdresser with strong technical ability (essential)
Proven experience running a successful column
Previous experience as a Salon Manager or Assistant Manager (desirable, not essential)
Ambition to grow into a strong people manager with support and training
Commercial awareness and confidence working to targets and KPIs
Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude
