The main responsibility of this role is to manage the day to day running and marketing of the salon and as well as managing your own clients. This opportunity requires a hairdresser with a level of business acumen, as well as having exceptional hairdressing experience and qualifications.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:



To manage the day to day running of the hair salon Determines staffing, financial, material and other short- and long-term needs; Controls the allocation, training and remuneration of staff; Provides clients with information and advice on styles and treatments, and resolves any complaints or problems To maintain and constantly review marketing of clients and review clients service standard To manage and support colleagues, allocating work as appropriate (where necessary) To conduct new employee inductions and to manage the onboarding process To manage quarterly development and performance reviews for all employees To ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the salon is of a high standard at all times, while adhering to COVID-19 safety requirements Be responsible for costing, ordering and keeping inventory of stock and equipment Be responsible for equipment, consumables and co-ordination of Health & Safety and Risk Assessment activities Undertakes and/or directs hair treatments and/or beauty therapy Be responsible for managing the budgets To ensure that all equipment is in a safe working order at all times Carry out any reasonable instructions which involves additional duties commensurate with the level of this post

Skills and abilities



Possess competent verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to relate cordially with clients Possess management proficiency Ability to plan and execute strategic sales processes Ability to deliver result profusely Ability to manage other staff members Possess excellent specific market knowledge Ability to work under pressure Ability to lead a team Ability to multitask. Proficiency in a second language, ideally Japanese, to cater to clients from oriental origin Candidate should ideally be degree qualified Proficiency in MS Office, Sage

Pay: From 29,000.00 per year
