Based in the beautiful village of Wye in a family owned friendly salon with a diverse range of lovely clients - we are seeking a confident, positive, talented and passionate Hair Stylist with mature approach, excellent skills and premium level customer service experience, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hairdressing and a flair for creativity - if you have hair up/wedding, beauty or barbering skills that will certainly give you an advantage! You will be responsible for providing exceptional services while ensuring a welcoming environment for clients. Your role will also involve creating reels for social media activity, scheduling appointments and coming up with new ideas for improving the salon, revenues and operations.

Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.

- Provide expert advice on hair care and styling products, effectively upselling when appropriate.

- Conduct consultations with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and treatments.

- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to health and safety standards.

- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling, marketing, operations and managing client records.

- Ensure exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any concerns promptly.

Qualifications

- Valid NVQ2 0r NVQ3 hairdressing qualification.

- Proficiency hair up, barbering or beauty is advantageous.

- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

- A passion for mentoring others and sharing expertise within the salon team.

- Knowledge of eyelash extension application and makeup techniques is a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Temp to perm, Freelance

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 - 37 per week
