As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service while also contributing to the overall atmosphere of our salon.

Responsibilities

Provide professional hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling hair to meet client expectations. Perform barbering services for male clients, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as needed. Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalised recommendations. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue. Mentor junior stylists and trainees, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their development. Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with clients and team members.

Experience

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role within a salon environment. Strong skills in barbering techniques and hair styling methods. Previous experience in customer service is essential, with a focus on building lasting client relationships. Familiarity with front desk operations is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience in mentoring or training others is desirable. Knowledge of beauty trends, products, and techniques including eyelash extensions and makeup application is a plus.
