Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairdressing with excellent customer service skills. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your creativity while providing exceptional styling and grooming services to clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering personalised haircuts, colour treatments, and specialised styling, ensuring clients feel confident and satisfied with their look. A background in store management, along with strong communication skills and the ability to upsell products and services effectively.

Duties

Provide a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments. Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Offer personalised advice on haircare products and styling techniques to clients. Upsell retail products and promote specialised treatments to maximise client experience and salon revenue. Mentor junior staff or apprentices, sharing expertise in technical skills and customer service excellence. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation within the salon environment. Assist with store management duties as required, including stock replenishment and visual merchandising.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Experience in front desk operations Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues or apprentices in technical skills and professional development. Strong upselling capabilities with a friendly approach to promoting products and services. Exceptional communication skills coupled with organisational abilities to manage appointments efficiently. A professional attitude with a keen eye for detail and current trends in hairdressing and beauty services.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 40 per week
