We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairstyling, with a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering haircuts, colouring, and other styling related services, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring and styling. Provide personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon environment Manage appointment schedules efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth operations throughout the day Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and maximise salon revenue Assist with store management duties when required, including stock organisation and maintaining equipment Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and ensuring their needs are met

Experience

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist within a busy salon environment Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Knowledge of store management practices and front desk operations is advantageous Experience in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling techniques is desirable but not essential Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues or apprentices to foster skill development Minimum of SVQ Level 3 in hairdressing is required to ensure professional standards are met

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
