Responsibilities

Provide expert hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles that meet each client's unique preferences. Perform advanced color treatments utilizing color theory principles to achieve vibrant or subtle results tailored to individual needs. Conduct hair threading and eyelash extension procedures to enhance clients' natural beauty with precision and care. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and equipment in compliance with health regulations. Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking. Engage clients through excellent communication skills by understanding their desires, offering professional advice, and explaining treatment options clearly. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling retail product sales through upselling techniques. Mentor junior stylists by sharing expertise in hair styling, coloring techniques, and customer service best practices. Support store management in daily operations by maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring the salon runs smoothly. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, coloring, nail care, makeup application, and barbering techniques to provide innovative services. Promote retail sales of hair care products and accessories by demonstrating their benefits to clients effectively.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of hair extensions application techniques and color theory for customized coloring solutions. Proficiency in salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management. Strong expertise in hair styling including cuts, blowouts, updos, straight razor shaves, and makeup application. Skilled in sanitation practices to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff. Certified in cosmetology or barbering with experience in nail care services preferred. Ability to perform hair threading and eyelash extension procedures with precision. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach that builds lasting client relationships. Retail sales acumen with experience in upselling products based on client needs; knowledge of retail math is advantageous. Effective communication skills for mentoring team members and engaging clients confidently.
