Overview

We are seeking talented and passionate Hairdressers, Barbers and Beauticians to join our new hair salon. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients through expert hair styling services. Your creativity and customer service skills will be essential in providing an exceptional experience for every client who walks through our doors.

Duties

Provide a range of hair styling services for men and women, including cutting, colouring, and treatments tailored to individual client needs. Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure a welcoming environment for clients. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional advice on styles and products. Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring that each client feels valued and satisfied with their experience. Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations to clients. Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive workplace atmosphere. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring the well-being of both clients and staff. Beauticians: ability to carry out facials, waxing and threading

Qualifications

3 years minimum experience in hair styling or barbering is preferred. Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with clients and team members. A passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing or barbering are advantageous but not mandatory. A willingness to learn new techniques and continuously improve your skills within the industry. Ability to carry out beauty treatments such as facials and waxing will be advantageous.

Trial and interview is mandatory, if you are a barber, please bring your tools to the interview.

Opening times will be Mon - Fri: 9.30am -7pm, Sat: 9am - 7pm, Sun: 10am - 4pm. Full-time and part-time applications welcomed.

Location: E16 2AJ, 1 min walk from Gallion's Reach DLR Station, paid parking only in the area.

Please note, we are not currently able to provide work permits.

Start date: ASAP ideally.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 550.00-650.00 per week

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
